Purpose To support licensed amateur radio operators pursuing postsecondary education in radio communications.
Focus Communications; Radio and television.
Qualifications Applicant must be an active, licensed amateur radio operator who resides in the ARRL New England Division (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Massachusetts); must have held an amateur radio license for a minimum of one year prior to date of application; must be pursuing an undergraduate degree or a two-year technical school in radio communications at an accredited postsecondary institution.
Criteria The ARRL Foundation Scholarship Committee will review all applicants and make selections. First preference given to Extra Class, second preference given to General Class; third preference Given to Technician Class.
Funds $2,000
Duration Annual.
